Here’s a list of some of the best family-friendly events for Easter in Houston.

This year Easter is sneaking up on us at the beginning of April. If you have not made any plans for Easter see below for a variety of events going on in Houston Texas. Have fun celebrating Easter in Houston.

  • Blessington Farms Easter Eggstravaganza and Egg Hunt – Combine picking strawberries and searching for Easter eggs at Blessington Farms. The farm has barrel rides, giant slides, and animals, including chickens, goats, and camels!. Eggs can be redeemed for prizes and candy. Entrance fee is $20 per person; children under 18 months are free.

 

  • Easter Weekend at Kemah Boardwalk – March 30 and 31
    Take the family to Kemah Boardwalk and enjoy decorating Easter egg cookies, snap pics with the Easter Bunny, and an Easter Egg hunt for kids under 8 years old. Prices vary for each activity.

 

 

  • Acre Woods 13th Annual Easter Egg Hunt & Market – Head over to Conroe to celebrate Easter with zip lines and a petting zoo. There are a variety of activities that vary in price. The activities range from carnival games, concessions, face painting, paintball, pony rides and much more.

 

  • Easter in Hermann Park – Spend Easter at Hermann Park for breakfast at Pinewood Cafe. There will be an Easter egg hunt, ride the train and pedal the water boats. Advance tickets recommended as space is limited.

 

 

  • George Ranch Historical Park Old-Fashioned Easter – Saturday, March 31. Be transported back in time and enjoy activities such as basket egg toss, make Victorian Easter Egg cards, and of course, there will be an Easter Egg hunt. The hunts will take place at 11 am, 1 pm, and 3 pm. Ticket price for event ranges from $10 – $15.

 

  • Easter on Smith Ranch in Katy, Saturday, March 31. Meet the Easter Bunny, hunt for eggs, feed the animals, paddle boats, bounce in the bounce house, and many other fun activities. Bring your basket for the egg hunt. Tickets for the event at $10 per person. Hunts will be at 10 am to noon and the second one from 2 pm to 4 pm.

 

  • Moody Gardens – Celebrate Easter in Galveston on Sunday, April 1 from 11 am – 3 pm. This free Easter egg hunt is open to the public for children under 9-years old. You also have the option to have brunch buffet at the Garden Restaurant and Moody Gardens Hotel.

 

  • Artmix Easter Break Camp – With a long holiday weekend you can place your kids a day camp at Artmix Houston. Artmix focuses on helping kids build their fine motor skills; students will learn art history and new techniques in drawing, painting, sculpting and more!
